I thought you might be interested in this free webinar focused on cooperative law and regulatory reform around the world taking place this Wednesday, August 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, which is co-hosted by the U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council (OCDC) and National Cooperative Business Association (NCBA CLUSA). Simultaneous interpretation will be available in English, Spanish, and French.
The Cooperative Law and Regulatory Initiative (CLARITY, http://www.clarity.coop) is a methodology and process with practical tools designed to support national cooperative movements to get clarity on their law and regulations and to initiate needed reforms. CLARITY grew out of shared experiences and convictions that outdated legal and regulatory systems can be barriers to cooperative development in many parts of the world. Learn about how the CLARITY methodology, process, and toolkit have been used in Guatemala, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, and Madagascar to support cooperative legal and regulatory reform from the very people who helped make it happen.
