Megan Marcoux

Director

Megan has worked in the field of post-secondary education (PSE) for nearly 15 years and believes that the education system can play a powerful role in fostering inclusion, innovation, and social change. In 2017-18 she engaged as a fellow in the Jean Sauvé Foundation’s two-year Public Leadership Program, and since 2020 has served as Concordia’s Project Lead for the pan-Canadian Future Skills Innovation Network (FUSION). Both within and beyond her work in PSE, Megan is an avid community builder with a keen interest in sparking and supporting initiatives that foster the flourishing of people and communities. She is proud to have played a leadership role in founding Saskatoon’s Bridge City Bicycle Co-operative and Bike to Work Day (since expanded to BYXE Week) and also has keen interests in projects tied to intergenerational housing and exchange, and building community through food.

Megan has a Bachelor of Education (University of Saskatchewan) and a Master’s in Leadership (Royal Roads University). In addition to being a current ACE Board Director, she also sits on the board of Montreal’s minibiblioPLUS – an initiative focused on early childhood literacy.
